The Listening Room Volume 1 showcases eight singer songwriters who were invited to play a feature set at The Listening Room in the twelve months prior to the albums release.

Each performer brings their own style with their own story to tell, resulting in a wonderful collection of original material. The album was recorded with support from Edinburgh College at the CRE:8 studios along with artists who gave up their time and kindly allowed us to use their songs.

The monies generated from sales of the album will be used to contribute towards the purchase of a starlit curtain backdrop for use in Edinburgh College CRE:8 Recording Studio live rooms. It is our hope that we may be invited back to record The Listening Room Volume 2 with our songwriters beautifully framed in starlight.

The complete collection was recorded live in a single day with each of the artists allocated a very short period of time to produce the goods, we are sure you will agree with us,
