Jordan Murray is a Scottish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He was born on January 8th 1993 in Dalbeattie, a small town in Dumfries and Galloway, South West Scotland. Jordan started to sing and write songs in February 2013. After playing many gigs throughout the summer, securing local radio air-time and gaining a local following he decide to move to Scotland’s capital Edinburgh in September of the same year to pursue a musical career. He made the decision of dropping out of Music College in April 2014 to focus his energy on writing songs and performing gigs as an independent self employed musician.
Now based in Edinburgh, Jordan is an up and coming artist in the Country’s capital. After a recent appearance on STV Glasgow’s The Riverside Show, he has started to gain recognition across the Country and further afield. With big plans for the future, he has applied to play at the 2015 SXSW music conference in Austin, Texas and to tour the USA in early 2015.
